Cooper: Mealy Amazon Parrot Adopted: February 2005 Age: 2 Years
Cooper absolutely loves to talk, and is very intelligent. He says things like" Hello Cooper," "Good Morning," "Step Up," and "Good Bird." He learns a little bit more vocabulary everyday. He loves to play and talk to you, and sometimes he'll even give kisses.

There are four rabbits in residence here as well. They love to play and run around in their X-Pen in the yard. There are two girls, Patches, who has been here the longest, and Shadow. The boys, Bunny and Bunny-Foo, also like to play and munch. All of the rabbits love to eat butternut squash and yams.
Bunny-Foo Adopted January 2006.

Shadow: Adopted June 2006

Bunny: Adopted March 2006

Patches: Adopted March 2003

Along with the bunnies and Cooper, there are four ferrets who love to play and keep Cooper entertained with their antics. Their names are Snickers, Skittles, Frick and Frack.

Along with the many reptiles and amphibians we have taken in, we also have feathered and furry friends.
This
is Ginger. She is an Amazon double yellow parrot that came to live with us recently.
She came to us from a really good home, but before that she was kept in a closet
in a pet store for almost 2 years. She doesn't really like men but we
will continue to work with her.

Sadly
Ginger passed away from old age on 1/25/05. The vets estimated her age at
37-45 years. We will miss the noises she made and the joy she brought to
us.
Sugarbear
(left) and Patches are our lop ear bunnies. We are working on leash training
them so they can come with us to give our little talks to help educate children.

These are our newborn Dwarf Russian Hamsters. They are about 2 weeks old
here. They are so cute. The one in the picture below is their mommy.

Meet Cooper, he came to live with us in February, 2005. Cooper is a Mealey Amazon Parrot less than a year old.
He won't ever take Gingers place, but the house was too quite without that Amazon voice.
